How many people can go on a yacht charter in Dubai?

Each yacht has a licensed guest capacity — commonly 10–12 on smaller yachts, 20–30 on mid-size, and 50+ on event boats — and it's a legal limit that includes children. Tell us your exact headcount in the enquiry and the partner supplier will confirm a vessel licensed for your group; exceeding capacity on the day means guests get turned away at the marina.

Capacity is law, not a suggestion

The number is a condition of the vessel's licence, enforced at the marina — and children count as guests. Turning up with "just two extra" doesn't work: the boat cannot legally leave the berth over capacity, so someone stays on the dock.

Bigger groups often pay less per head

Private charters are priced per boat, per hour — so up to the capacity limit, every extra guest lowers the cost per person. A mid-size yacht filled to its licence is usually the sweet spot for parties and celebrations.

Flag the details that matter

Mention infants, elderly guests or anyone with accessibility needs in your enquiry — boarding arrangements and life-jacket sizes vary by vessel, and the supplier can pick a boat that suits everyone rather than improvising on the day.

On the day at the marina

Bring ID for every guest and arrive early — marina check-in covers the whole group before boarding, and late arrivals eat into your charter time.
