Rental desks at DXB sit in or just after the arrivals halls of Terminals 1, 2 and 3, most open 24/7. Your voucher names the exact desk and terminal for your booking — head there after baggage claim with your documents, complete the paperwork and deposit hold, and you'll be directed to the car in the airport parking area.
Finding the desk
All three DXB terminals have rental desks in or immediately after arrivals, and the major desks run around the clock — a late-night landing is no problem. One thing to get right at booking: match your pickup terminal to your arrival terminal, so you're not hauling luggage across the airport to collect the keys.
The pickup flow
- Show your voucher (in your account) and documents: licence, IDP if required, passport, credit card in the main driver's name.
- The desk completes the agreement and places the deposit hold on your credit card.
- You're directed to the car in the airport parking area for a quick inspection, then away you go.
Two minutes that protect your deposit
Before leaving the lot, photograph any existing damage — scuffs, kerbed wheels, windscreen chips — plus the fuel gauge. Time-stamped photos end most damage disputes before they start.
Returning the car
