Yes โ request a child seat when you send your transfer request and tell us your child's age, and we'll arrange an appropriate infant, toddler or booster seat with your chauffeur. UAE law requires children under 4 to travel in a child safety seat, and street taxis rarely carry them, so pre-booking is the reliable way to ride legally and safely from the airport.
What the law says
Children under 4 must ride in a child safety seat in the UAE, and young children are restricted from the front seat. It's your responsibility as the parent, so building the seat into the booking โ rather than hoping at the kerb โ is the sensible route.
How to request the right seat
State each child's age (and weight, if you know it) when you book, so the correct type is fitted before pickup:
- Infant carrier โ rear-facing, for babies.
- Forward-facing seat โ for toddlers who've outgrown the carrier.
- Booster seat โ for older children not yet tall enough for the adult belt.
Note the request when you book, or add it afterwards via /account/support/new โ the exact terms for your transfer are confirmed with your booking.
Why not just grab a taxi?
On-demand rides at the airport rarely carry child seats, and after a long flight with a tired child, hunting for one is the last thing you want. A pre-arranged transfer with the seat already fitted removes the problem entirely.
Bringing your own seat?
That works too โ your chauffeur will help fit it. Just mention it in the booking so the vehicle has space.
Send your request at /chauffeur with your children's ages, and we'll confirm the setup before you fly.
