Contact us as soon as you notice โ minor typo corrections are usually possible and often free if caught early, but tickets cannot be transferred to a different person. Your ticket name must match your passport exactly for international travel to and from Dubai, so a mismatch is worth fixing before the airport, not at it.
Book exactly as the passport reads
The safest habit: copy the name from the machine-readable line of the passport, in the same order, with no nicknames. "Mike" on a ticket and "Michael" in the passport is the classic avoidable problem. When you book with us, double-check every passenger name on the review screen before paying.
What can be corrected โ and what can't
- Usually correctable: small typos, a missing letter, swapped first and last names, a shortened name expanded to match the passport.
- Not allowed: replacing one traveller with another. A ticket is personal and cannot be handed to a different passenger.
Whether a correction is free or carries a fee depends on the airline's fare rules โ and earlier requests are consistently cheaper and easier than last-minute ones.
How to raise it
Open a ticket at /account/support/new with three things: your booking reference (PNR), the correct spelling, and a photo of the passport name page. That's everything we need to take it to the airline. You can watch the booking's status from /account.
